Douglas T. Kans – Attorney/Owner

Quite often, he is asked to lecture or speak at seminars for other lawyers on various topics pertaining to criminal law or drunk driving related issues. For more than 25 years, Douglas T. Kans has devoted his law practice to DWI defense, defending individuals who have been charged with crimes. Douglas T. Kans studied at the University of Maryland at College Park, graduating in 1989 from the prestigious Robert H. Smith School of Business with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, and then earning his Juris Doctorate from the William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul. He is licensed in both Federal and State Court, and is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National College for DUI Defense, and the Minnesota State Bar Association.
Brady Cysiewski – Attorney/Senior Associate
Brady Cysiewski studied at Hamline University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. In his time at Hamline, he competed in the American Mock Trial Association. After graduating he went on to earn his Juris Doctor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is currently licensed in the State of Minnesota, and the Federal Courts United States District Court of Minnesota.
While in law school, Brady worked at a private firm, assisting in criminal defense matters throughout Minnesota. Following graduation from Mitchell Hamline, Mr. Cysiewski continued working with the private firm, representing a range of clients from misdemeanor charges to felony charges.
Brady has been a invaluable asset to Kans Law Firm, LLC. His integrity and hard work is valued and has more importantly proven to a be great asset to his clients. He works tirelessly to provide the best representation possible through clear and honest communication. When away from the office, Brady enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, playing board games, card games and rooting passionately for his Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins.
